72h
written diagnostic, post-call

A one-page read on what we found and what we'd test next. Industry standard is 4 to 6 weeks.

Four questions a real VP asks in a DM.

Before you hand over a calendar invite.

  1. Who actually shows up on the call?

A senior strategist from the team that builds the diagnostic — not an account director, not an SDR. Of the 64-person team, 19 are strategists cleared to lead diagnostics. Most calls are run by Mara Okafor (ex-Nielsen), Daniel Reiss (Stanford behavioral science), or one of three lead analysts. You'll see their name on the calendar invite before you confirm.

  2. What lands in my inbox after the 30 minutes?

Within 72 hours, a one-page written read: what we heard, what our Outlier Index says about the question you brought, and the single test we would run next with a stated cost and timeline. If the answer is "your existing panel can answer this cheaper," we say so. About 11% of diagnostics conclude with that recommendation, and we refer the work back to your incumbent vendor.

  3. How confidential is the conversation?

The diagnostic is held under mutual NDA on request — signed within the same business day, no redlines on standard terms. We do not record calls without written consent, and the panel-level data discussed is governed by Esomar 28 standards audited quarterly. ISO 27001 certified, SOC 2 Type II compliant since 2021. Your category, your brand, and the question you bring are never referenced in our published State of the Outlier report or in any client deliverable for another brand.

  4. Do I need to prepare anything?

One sentence in the form above — the question you want answered. That's the only required preparation. If you want to send a one-page brief beforehand, the strategist will read it, but it is not expected. Diagnostics that arrive with a 40-page deck from procurement take longer to schedule and rarely produce sharper answers.

Still on the fence. Read the methodology, scan the Outlier Index, or write directly.
